"A positive experience"

About: Western General Hospital / Gastroenterology

(as the patient),

I went for my appointment, the staff are outstanding in their care & respect for all. Greeted by lovely Receptionist who directed us to the clinic waiting room, all calm, clean water readily available. Met by Nurse who did the normal initial checks then sat feeling very calm for Gastroenterologist Dr Eugenicos.   All the time I felt as did my husband calm and well looked after, in my appointment all was explained to be & reassurances given, didn't feel rushed (though I usually forget to ask questions but thats me) I know my GP can contact Dr Eugenicos) options and choices.   Once appointment completed went back to Reception to hand in appointment slip & again such courtesy.   As I travel quite a distance & we need to stop overnight the whole experience is worth it.   I know the NHS  does & I am sure will continue to have challenges but Western General Hospital Gastroenterology Department has certainly made my appointments a positive experience. Thank You to all.
