On Friday 19 January in the morning, I had a blood test. In the evening after my GP surgery had closed I received a phone call from NEMS. Impressively they had read my test results and concluded that my haemoglobin levels were "life threateningly low". As I had only just been an emergency admission and was finding it difficult to walk, they sent an ambulance. I saw the doctor, who was understanding itself.
He organised an ambulance to take me to QMC A&E (see separate review).
Altogether excellent, with all the staff from the drivers to the medical staff were very good, understanding and communicative.
"Excellent in all aspects"
