"Ambulatory care"

About: University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

I was referred to a&e by the go after having chest pains and tingling in face and hands (have history of hypertension). I spent a few hours in a&e getting tests done then seen by doctors and consultants who were very thorough. To rule out more sinister diagnoses I was told to return the next day to the TIA clinic. The nurse in charge escorted me to the clinic and then to imaging for MRI scan plus other tests. I was seen very swiftly and treated with great care and thoroughness. I was then seen again by the consultant who reviewed the results and confirmed all was well. The care and attention I received was superb.
