"Let down competely"

My child was referred to AH following a serious threat to end their life.

For the first 3 weeks everything was taken extremely seriously, but then on meeting one of the Drs for the first time, my child, who by this time had turned 18, felt they were dismissed.

The Dr seemed confused as to why they were there and dismissed the session to take a phone call.

A week later my child was informed they were being discharged.

The following day they made another serious threat to their life during a manic episode so I rang back to AH and was informed they do not feel they can offer support.

My child now feels they are beyond help.

I now feel completely alone and feel like it is only a matter of time before my child ends their life.
