"reception staff a complete let down"

Went to the drs but needed to speak to a reception staff member - rather than booking in on the screen. there were about 4 women gossiping in the back. One looked at me and continued in their conversation laughing and shrieking. this is not uncommon and has happened several times to me - hence the review. the was a woman on the neighbouring desk pretending like i didn't exist. i asked her if there was anyone working on the CF reception - so she got up and went to the gaggle where someone came over - looking put out that i had interrupted her conversation. RUDE. I have rarely had issue with the drs but the reception are not helpful, friendly and actually really let the medical staff and practice down.
