"Unexpected A&E visit"

About: Macclesfield District General Hospital / Accident and emergency

Having fallen the day before I had an unexpected visit to A&E to find out I had broken my ankle. I cannot praise the staff enough from my registration to being attended to, diagnosed, and treated. The staff at Macclesfield work so hard with their patients care at the forefront. I was really impressed with all involved with my treatment to date. It’s going to be a long six weeks to recovery but I know that all the staff will look after me.

Yes, when entering A&E you have to wait and it can turn out to be a long day but the staff are doing all they can with their resources so credit to all emergency staff within the NHS.

Please accept our sincere thanks for taking the time to comment on your experiences while being cared for on the ward. It's great to hear you were so pleased with the service provided.

I will feed back your comments to the staff concerned and I'm sure it will mean a lot to them.
