Attended A&E with my partner on Saturday tea time, I'm 10 weeks pregnant and had a slight bleed.... Was seen by the triage nurse within a matter of minutes, obs taken and sample provided; barely had time to sit back down in the waiting area before a smiley, friendly porter took us up to the Early Maternity Assessment Unit (I could have walked by myself but it was a lovely gesture!). Met by warm and friendly nursing staff, waited a short while in a spotless clean and warm waiting area before being examined by the Doctor, HCA present as a chaperone and again both very warm and friendly. Much appreciated being offered wet wipes and "towels" to clean myself up afterwards, little thing that made a difference. Booked for follow up scan 2 days later and given antibiotics - and heading home 90 mins later. Wow! Thank you NMGH, you came up trumps for me again..... as a nurse myself I know how hard you guys work and I just wanted to say how much you are all very much appreciated!
"Amazing kindness and super quick service"
