"Care coordinator team is just like the..."

Sadly i have the same problems i had at the Sutherland centre in longton no one gets back to you, only different is i had a care coordinator at the Sutherland even tho she didn’t care as i had taken a overdose because i was so unwell she didn’t get back to me to 2weeks later when i was even more well and she missed the appointments I’m trying to get a care coordinator but know one at greenfields seems to care there needs to be more of a person centred approach with these services regulated properly as I’m worried that others with mental health issues lives are being affected greatly because they don’t care, sucidal thoughts is something I struggle with and bad anxiety with depression but they couldn’t care less, and they probably think its us thats the problem with us complaining it isn’t its the care coordinators who don’t care at all, I’ve listened to people in the community in the past and they have no hope in this service please improve.

I am sorry to hear that you have not experienced the standard of care that we expect.

The Community Mental Health Teams have clear protocols and procedures in place for ensuring that service users know who their Care Co-Ordinator is and what they can expect from their care team.

You may also be aware that services are available outside of the operating hours of the Community Mental Health Team in order to provide support for people who are in crisis.

I am very disappointed that for you you feel that we appear to have fallen below these expected standards in your experience with two of our Community Mental Health Teams and would be grateful if you could contact the Centre Manager Noel Naughton or Deputy Manager Karen Linnell -Cottage on 0300 790 0236 both of whom would be very happy to hear from you and respond to the concerns you have raised on NHS Choices.
