"Superb experience in Paediatric A&E and..."

I would just like to send a message to say thank you to all the staff at paediatric A&E and the Childrens Ward at Wexham Park Hospital.

Every single member of staff I encountered was an absolute credit to the Trust.

There were the staff nurses and healthcare assistants who clapped and played and laughed with my daughter once she was feeling better, the domestic staff who cleaned my daughters room who was smiley and friendly, the consultant who was empathetic and very willing to listen to a worried mum.

I was extremely impressed to receive a phone call from the consultant on the Sunday when we'd been discharged and she hadn't had a chance to catch up with us on the ward.

There were the attentive doctors and nurses on A&E who were professional, calm and friendly despite having to cannulate a 1 year old.

Then there were the 2 ambulance drivers who were also extremely professional and kind to both myself and my daughter, very reassuring and again a credit to the Trust.

You all do an incredible job and I was so taken aback with how professional the team were as well as being fun and friendly with my child. Keep being amazing, keep smiling, and keep reassuring all the parents who are worrying themselves sick.

You are all heroes.
