What I liked

I have been using the Rheumatology department for several years now especially the Clinical Research Department. I have never had a cause to be unhappy with my treatment, and both nursing staff and the consultants [or at least the ones I have to see] are curteous, respectful, insightful, and explain things that you do not quite understand, which usually goes over your head when being told at the time, due to the worry factor. The staff here will put you at ease, they are on your level so understand and trully are wonderful consultants, I have recommeded my brother who is a private patient to my rheumatologist, and he is very happy with his treatment, and my father see's another consultant also and he's says he cannot find fault. I recommend the consultants and the staff here as they are a wonderful and complimentary team to put your health in their hands. I also have to see a TNF nurse and I feel that for the service that both TNF & rheumatologist are giving you the best resources that they have to offer, and if you have any re-occuring problems that are connected they will also help anyway that they can.

What could be improved

Waiting times if possible, but they are not god and cannot perform miracles.

Anything else?

I would like to thank both the nurse and doctor for being there when help is needed, and I'm glad that I am under their care.

Thank you for your kind comments. We are delighted that you were pleased with the service – this will be feedback to the staff in the department.

We do try to keep waiting times to a minimum however there are occasions when clinics are delayed slightly due to the complexity of individual appointments.
