My grandad was admitted to hull royal after having a stroke. He was discharged then re admited because he was have post stroke sesiurzes. He was in hospital many week. He while in hull royal the second time had another massive stroke. Which really knocked him for six. However, when they offered him rehabilitation it was the best thing he had offered to him. He came to the community ward not able to walk. 6 weeks later he was discharged and had a lot of his mobility back. We had a few problems but we told the ward manager and they were sorted straight away. I would like to take this time to thank all of the staff from the East Riding Community hospital. Even down to the catering team because my grandad can’t have lactos and they went above and beyond. I don’t even know if my grandad would still be here to this day. Especial thank you to three particular member of staff. On a,y grandads behalf he can’t thank them enough.
