I had Surgery on Tuesday 30th Jan and discharged from RD&E on Thursday 1st Feb, and i had my dressing changed at Sidmouth Health Centre on Friday 2nd Feb and cant fault the treatment I received on both occasions, i wish the same could be said about Honiton Hospital, Went in to MIU at Honiton Hospital on Saturday 3rd Feb to have my dressing changed as it needs to be done daily, when we arrived there was a 1.5hr waiting time which we agreed to wait but shortly after sitting down the Triage Nurse came out and changed it to 2.5hrs then a short time later she changed it again to 3hrs waiting time, we waited over 2.5hrs before the Triage Nurse came out and when we told her how long we had been waiting for she said we had only been there 2hrs 29mins as if that made it alright, she was very rude and not very helpful at all, when we finally got to see a nurse we were in the treatment room for less than 10 minutes, so for a 10 minute dressing change we were in MIU for about 2hrs 40 minutes, my dressing is supposed to be done daily but i definitely wont be going there again on Sunday, i will take my chances and go to my Local Health centre on Monday morning.
