My Wife Denise was admitted on 15/01/18 with massive bleed and clot on her brain..surgery was carried out that night,,pleased to say,,successfully..i was still in my work clothing, and being so far from home, had no place to stay, the nurse on duty advised i could stay on grounds in a rented room, which made me more at ease being closer to the Hospital..
My Wife stayed on Stanley Graveson Ward for two weeks,,all the staff on duty were fantastic,,i / we cannot thank them enough, they looked after Denise so professionally,,i was by her bedside each week from Fri to Sunday,,so i saw first hand the dedication of care Denise was given,,Thank you to all of the staff who looked after my wife. Now Denise is at QA Hospital,,sadly not receiving the same care/treatment as at Southampton,,staff are great,,down to resources etc..but she is doing well,,her memory is not quite as was,,but that will come in time,,but she is walking/talking/eating all thanks to staff on Stanley Graveson,,please pass on our gratitude....Great work.
