My wife suffered clot and bleed to her brain,,spent two weeks in Southampton neuro,,whom we cannot thank enough for their skill and dedication to help her..once transferred to QA,,all downhill,,placed on wrong ward,as no beds available on ward for her condition/requirements..in Southampton i was consulted daily on her progress,,i was staying with her..at QA,,not once have i seen/spoken to consultant/doctor regarding next phase etc,,she has been there 5 days today..03/02/18.(so,,3 weeks in hospital to date)..physically she is all good,,mentally her memory is not back to normal,,understandable after such trauma,,but every night after work i visit,,she has not progressed as on wrong ward and needs neuro physio/rehabilitation which she is not receiving..,when she is seen by doctors or the like,,it is no good them talking and telling her what is going to happen,,because she does not remember by the time i visit..am angry and frustrated at the treatment/care or lack of that my Wife is receiving,,every member of staff on her ward are great,,it is just the lack of communication to me and the pace of requiring correct placement for her treatment.....!!!
