I have multiple long-term conditions, so I am used to seeing doctors and other health care professionals regularly. However, they can sometimes be a bit obtrusive and unnecessarily harsh, so I do not always look forward to seeing a doctor/nurse. However, this time, the College Health Centre nurse was more professional and friendly than any other doctor I have ever seen. She explained the importance of every aspect of her physical examination of me and always had a very calm and composed (but friendly!) attitude to the consultation.
