"Good experience in day procedures unit - Muriel..."

I took my stepfather to the Muriel Thoms Unit this week for a small procedure. He is 94 years old and was a little nervous. The staff were absolutely WONDERFUL! From the meet and greet guide and the receptionist to the nurses and consultant - EVERYONE was kind and caring and made him feel really special. I was given all the information about what was being done, what would happen next and the probable options for further treatment in an unhurried and sensitive fashion. One of the kindest little actions was that of the nurse who put his cravat back on for him with great care. Thank you all very much indeed.
