Ended up in A&E because I couldn't breath. Im not sure what was resolved as Im not sure they knew what was wrong in the end (I think they suspected asthma as I was given nebulisers and oral steroids as well as intravenous antibiotics, think also gastro issues but none of this was made clear to me) but it settled while I was there on a nebuliser & they sent me away w prescriptions etc. It would have been good to get more advice on what Im supposed to do now but what I did notice is how smoothly things ran. They seemed to be working well as a team. I was treated with respect and kept in for as long as I they could determine it was no longer an emergency. I literally could not breath earlier when ambulance came. My GP receptionist told me no one could see me as they were booked up despite in breathing fits on the phone to her and barely able to catch breath. She told me to go to A&E. Not something I would have done as it was a GP situation but as GP's are NEVER available in this town...had to call 111 & they called the ambulance. It seemed like a well oiled machine.
"Cant complain! felt like people worked really..."
