"UNACCEPTABLE"

About: Cumberland Infirmary

This department of the Cumberland Infirmary requires significant improvement in terms of patient care.

I was refused sedation for a recent sinus communication surgery (January 2018) on the grounds that it made the operation more difficult.

The Speciality Doctor who carried out the operation lacked any empathy and carried out the treatment with urgency and force.

I was talked over not to.

I had my surgery described in detail to a group of students (which I did not consent to) and I am extremely upset by the whole ordeal.

If you can avoid having treatment at this department, do so.
