The overall standard of nurses has dropped. Eg Education/Attitude/Manners.

There are a number of older patients who go into this hospital and when they leave are not as mobile as when they went in. It is essential to make sure that patients do not loose there mobility whilst in hospital.

The Physios spend most of there precious time going from 1 ward to another. No patients have enough time with them for it to be of any use. Physio is essential to patients recovery - 10mins occasionally is a complete waste of time and money.

Hygiene standards are very poor. A good sister in charge of a ward would ensure good hygiene standards. We need to be aware of where the cleaning staff have been as patients have a low imune system. Back to basics.
