"Errors by hospital yet not willing to help/support"

About: Croydon University Hospital / Gynaecology

Hospital refused to update address when informed letter printed had wrong address on it but told me instead to contact gp.

Gp already held correct address as confirmed and been patient with gp for around four years.

Had an appt which on the back of needed another appt booked which was going to be sent to me.

The hospital sent the details to my incorrect address (one previously lived at) as confirmed with them on the phone.

They then told me as I missed the appointment I had been discharged and I would have to start the process again in order to be seen. I advised not willing to do this as it's there error, they need to put right.

I told them that they hadn't notified me of the appointment but they told me abruptly it was my fault as I didn't tell them of my address .

They then started questioning me when did I tell them. I explained my GP have my correct address to what they replied they could see my current address on there system leaving me feeling confused. They still insisted they had to stick to their process to which I then had to follow back up with my doctor surgery.
