What I liked

I was treated in A&E and on ward J1 extremly well and efficently,all staff were effective and courteous.I found the hospital efficent safe and clean and my needs were met well by medical,nursing and ancillary staff.I felt confident that the care I was recieving was of a high standard and that staff were trying to do there best for me and others.Particuarly on J1 I had an overall feeling of a high standard of care particuarly within patient safety and cleanlines standards.I did have to report the standard of care of an agency nurse around an individual incident ,the ward manager dealt with very effectivly and safely and my concerns were acted upon immediatly and communicated effectively back to me

What could be improved

I did have to wait after triage in A&E for 2 hours which I realise is well within 4 hour guidelines ,however at the time I was in extreme pain and vomiting and feel I shouldnt have been left waiting in that condition but given some anagesia whilst waiting or somewhere to lie down.

Anything else?

I would happily return to this unit and reccomend to others
