"Excellent Visit to Breast Clinic"

Yesterday I went to the One-Stop Breast Clinic, and I cannot thank everyone concerned enough. From reception, chat with surgeon, through Mammography, Ultrasound, Biopsy and then back to discuss results with surgeon, I could not have have felt more cared for and supported, (especially as my results were bad). The surgeon and the two nurses with her were kind, informative and friendly, and they made me feel that I was very much part of the decision-making process, (although in my shock and ignorance at the time, I felt like handing it all over to them!) The nurse who will be my key-worker gave me telephone numbers on which to contact her at any time. This is essential at such a traumatic time for a patient, and I want to congratulate all these people for their real empathy and full-heartedness.

I know that with this kind of support, I shall feel able to handle whatever I have to undergo.
