"Excellent Caring Midwives"

We had our baby on the 12th January and it was my wife’s first child, so as expected a little nervous. From start to finish the hospital and midwives were amazing.

We came to the hospital right on shift change (so we found out later on). Seen within 30mins and helped settle into our room. Once handover had been done we were assigned a midwife and she was amazing and so glad she was beyond what I had hoped for in the terms of guidance, support, caring nature and great communication too, really put my wife at ease from hour 1 till even staying back at the end of her shift to ensure my wife was settled into her bed on the ward. That department and in particular our midwife are truly a huge credit to the hospital and NHS on a whole. Thank you so much.
