A & E admission by ambulance. Not given anything to eat or drink for over 15 hours following admission to EMU. Just about to eat lunch when I was whisked away to discharge. Asked if I could just eat lunch first and was told I would be given a sandwich. This was inedible. Waited for an hour and a half for a taxi to be organised (so I could have eaten my lunch). Eventually rang a taxi myself and was sent home in the snow wearing flip flops, t-shirt, leggings and a torn hospital blanket. Not good when you have a respiratory issue and are still feeling ill.
