After being seen in Hemel UCC and given advice that contradicted the NHS leaflets and NHS website and terrible patient care generally, we called St Albans minor injuries unit. We were able to speak to a nurse who invited us to come straight over.
On arrival, the same nurse was expecting us with a pair of crutches at the ready. The level of care shown to my child was exemplary and as it used to be ‘back in the day’. She had a brilliant way with children and gave very sensible advice with humour. Due to the advice given, my child has recovered very quickly and the crutches returned.
I do believe that Hemel UCC could learn a lot from here!
Well done to all!
"Excellent example"
