"Thank you so much for taking care of her"

About: General Practices in Grampian

(as a service user),

On Sunday my daughter was seen in ED with very high temperature and vomiting. We were advised to make an appointment for review by her GP (at Rubislaw GP practice, Aberdeen) for Wednesday. When my husband phoned yesterday to make the appointment, the triage GP asked for more info and said she should come in to be seen that morning. She was seen, checked over and had tests taken with advice. This morning, the practice phoned us with my daughter's results and the diagnosis. With their advice, she’s being to feel better and we’re so relieved to find out what is wrong.

Thanks so much for not just making an appointment but taking care of her!

Dear Ellezabelle,

Last weekend must have been a worrying one for you. I’m glad to hear your daughter is now on the mend and that you have had the advice and answers you needed. It sounds like the practice communicated really well with you and your family and that can make such a positive difference.

I’m sure the staff at Rubislaw Medical Practice will be delighted that you got in touch to say thank you – I will pass your kind words on to them today.

Take care,

Kirsten
