"Impressed by professionalism at birth centre"

From the first phonecall to enquire about having my son there in April 2015 I was impressed by their professionalism. I saw the same midwife throughout (which would not have happened with my local midwives), and the same midwife was also there when I went into labour which was very reassuring. I saw 4 midwives (including my usual midwife) throughout my labour and they were all brilliant. To save us from coming back in for the day 1 post birth check, one of the midwives visited our home which was very considerate of her. We then attended the other checks at the birth centre and it was so lovely to see the midwives again who were all very excited and congratulating. I cannot wait to have a second child after such a positive experience and very much hope that I can deliver again in the birth centre where I know I would be in very good hands!
