What I liked
I have had 3 children at this hospital - all very difficult pregnancies resulting in premature babies. My 1st pregnancy problems happened at 29 weeks and came as a shock but the staff in maternity acted quickly and my baby was born at 30 weeks weighing 2lb 2oz, she spent 8 weeks on Neonatal (1 at Birmingham Childrens) - staff on maternity and neo natal are exceptional.
I was then expecting my 2nd baby and bacuse of my problems with my 1stI was very closely monitiored - almost wrapped in cotton wool, every precaustion that could be taken was - I had my baby at 35 weeks and she was fine.
Then came my 3rd pregnancy - again very very closely monitored - weekly scans abd consultant appointments until eventually daily visits until my daughter came at 31 weeks weighing 2lb 10oz and once again we were back on neo natal for 7 very long weeks,
Across my 3 pregnancies I have always been treated amazingly, all the staff have been wonderful, we were always involved in the care both me and our children received,.
As a family we can never than the maternity staff on the unit and in day assesment for taking care of us all, and words can never ever express our utmost respect and gratitude for the staff on your neonatal unit for looking after our children.
Thankyou
"Excellent from start to finish XX"
