"The fantastic service I received from the 999 operator"

(as the patient),

One Saturday I felt very short of breath which then turned into a full blown panic attack. I called 999 but the problem was I had lost my voice and the operator could not hear me or understand me properly. This wonderful lady went above and beyond to call and reassure me and let me know help was on the way. She stayed on the line as long as she could reassuring me and telling me what to do. Thirty minutes later two wonderful paramedics arrive and took care of me, calmed me down and reassured me that I was going to be alright. As I was at my house alone it was a very frightening experience. I wish I knew this lady operates name so that I can thank her from the bottom of my heart. She went above and beyond and for that I am eternally grateful. Thank you again whoever you are and God bless the NHS

It is great to hear how staff contributed to you having such a positive experience during a particularly stressful and frightening time, especially our call taker.
