"Treated with dignity and respect"

About: Ealing Hospital

What I liked

The staff in the hospital, being aware of my presenting complaint, were compassionate, kind and caring.

I was seen within 30 minutes of presenting at A&E, and walked through to minors within another 15. I had to wait a while to be seen by the doctors as there were some more urgent cases, but the nursing staff were exceptional, constantly checking I was alright, asking if there was anything they could do to help, and taking blood samples and performing basic observations.

When the doctors did see me, they were straight with me from the start, explaining what they felt was the problem, and explaining to me the likely complications that I could face in the future.

If it were ever possible to describe a hospital trip as "enjoyable", then I would describe this one as that.

Thank you for taking the time to write with your feedback. We were pleased to learn that you had such a positive experience when you attended the A&E department. Your kind comments will be conveyed to the staff concerned.
