"Treatment for OCD"

About: Ealing IAPT

(as a service user),

I have OCD which affects my life tremendously. It's very difficult getting through the day without some form of anxiety. Using the service was difficult for me because I don't like to talk about what bothers me but it has been so helpful. Nidhi was caring and lovely and really dedicated to helping me feel better. It was a huge relief just to be understood - let alone being given the tools to cope better on my own.

Dear "TheDormouse"

Thank you very much for your post on Care Opinion. We are very pleased that you found the service helpful for your OCD symptoms. I think that many people who have successfully used the service will be able to relate to your view that it is a relief to talk to someone who understands what you are going through. I'm glad that Nidhi was also able to provide you with some tools to use and will take great pleasure in passing on your kind words.

On behalf of the team, many thanks and best wishes.

Dr Louise De Haro, Clinical Psychologist

Deputy Clinical Lead Ealing IAPT
