Came in on 10 January, was seen within 5 minutes and observations, bloods etc done immediately after verbally giving them my reasons for coming plus all my medical information and current medication.
Results of the test and given a cubicle was minutes and diagnosis and treatment so quick with the doctor constantly updating me with results, why I was experiencing and what my symptoms were and letting me know what next steps were.
With the doctor and another member of staff between them I felt totally safe, secure with what they were doing and thank you seems such small words considering their immediate reaction and treatment saved my life.
They arranged an ambulance to Oxford where I have my transplant care.
My diagnosis was sepsis and I am immune suppressed so even more grateful for their immediate, swift and bang on treatment.
Thank you so much
