What I liked

Pre-op advice/info was informative and thorough. I requested a particular surgeon and was able to do so. though the time wait was only just within the guidelines.Although I was first examined by a registrar, the consultant was also available.

The operation was very successful and I was visited twice daily by the registrar or consultant. Post-op physio guidelines were good, with one follow uo appointment. I have had 2 follow-up consultations, at which further x-rays were taken. I felt very well looked after.

What could be improved

A shorter waiting time between consultation and my admittance.

Clearer info on the material used for the implant.

Clearer info on anaesthetics available and effects of those used.

Anything else?

I was delighted with the treatment overall and the outcome of surgery. An efficient, well run and very clean ward.
