"Fantastic service received in Breast Clinic"

About: Chorley & South Ribble Hospital / Breast surgery

I attended an appointment in the Brest Clinic on Friday 26/01/18 after being referred by my GP. I had never been to this hospital before so was unfamiliar with its location and where I was going. The letter I received was informative, clear and concise. When I arrived at the hospital, the signage was excellent so I had no difficulty finding the Breast Clinic.

The hospital was meticulously clean and very well maintained.

There was tea, coffee and water available in the Clinic’s waiting area and was free of charge which was very welcoming.

The staff were very friendly, professional and informative which put me at ease straightaway.

I was seen at the time of my appointment (was not left waiting around whilst staff chatted or got themselves a hot beverage as experienced at another hospital recently) and was kept informed as what would happen next in the process.

An excellent service by all staff during my appointment which made my visit far less stressful, thank you.

I made use of the toilets by the main entrance as I was leaving the hospital, they were lovely and clean and had no bad odours associated with public amenities. I would definitely recommend this hospital to family and friends.

It can be a very anxious time for a patients having to visit these clinics, and our Breast Care team have worked very hard to put the patient at the heart of their service and therefore reduce any further anxiety or worry.

We are delighted to hear that you found the hospital meticulously clean and our staff to be friendly professional and informative.
