"Maternity birth to our first child"

About: North Middlesex Hospital / Maternity care

We were admitted to the maternity ward after my partners water broke from the start we were treated very well we were told that it was very busy on the night and that we would be taken to the birth centre as soon as a room was available. We were taken to a bed in maternity and straight away a nurse was allocated to care for my partner the baby’s heartbeat was monitored and she was given antibiotics at around 2 o’clock in the morning we were taken upstairs to the birth centre and again had 5 star treatment from the doctor and midwives after giving birth my partner was moved to the ensuite from then onwards mother and baby was treated like king and queen the doctors the midwives the cleaning crew the kitchen staff the nurses everyone was so nice so gentle so caring always smiling always being attentive always treating her and baby like their own family we were so humbled and happy with the treatment we got the baby was looked after so well with so much care and cautious doctors didn’t take any chances with him from beginning to end we stayed for 5 days and we could not believe how well trained the doctors and staff were thank you so much nhs and North Middlesex we will never forget thank you for treating us so well
