Operation to remove Lipoma on Wed 24 Jan 2018.
Having returned home from my first ever visit to a hospital requiring surgery, I felt that I must praise all the members of the team that were responsible for my treatment and care. Having no previous experience of this kind of thing I was very apprehensive as to what I would find. I need not have worried, from the receptionist when I first arrived, through my pre op and after op care, I was treated with kindness and respect by every member of the team. Everyone was polite and gave the impression of absolute professionalism.
As a retired Police officer and a retired senior officer with the military cadet forces, I am only too well aware for the need for every member of a team to play their part, no matter how high or low on the promotion ladder, each must play his or her part to the utmost of their abilities.
Everyone in ward 3, ward 4, the surgical team and all ancillary staff were professional courteous and friendly at all times, even the cleaners who came round the wards did so with a smile on their face. Even the volunteer driver on the way home was friendly and obviously proud to be in his own way a part of this fantastic team.
I only wish that there was someway to award more than 5 stars.
With grateful thanks to everyone at RPH.
