I went in as a day patient at EENT under Maxilla-Facial dept on 23.1.18. Allowed home late afternoon, partly as a result of my own over-optimistic insistence that I fell well. Overnight I developed a swelling on my tongue and was taken back in on Wednesday morning. The problem was dealt with swiftly and successfully, and because they were unsure of the precise cause I was ask to remain until the morning of 26.1.18. This I was very happy to do.
I have nothing but praise for the doctors, nurses, and all auxiliary staff and I thank them all. I am sure that some things could be improved, as they can in any large organisation, but I have no complaints whatsoever.
