"Excellent midwife support - thank you!"

What I liked

The midwifes were fantastic. I was designated a midwife one to one from my waters breaking, and they were very supportive during my lengthy labour. They helped arrange it so I could use the birthing pool, and kept me well informed throughout the process. They also took care of my husband, who was allowed to stay with me throughout the labour, and showed him how to put on my baby's first nappy after he was born.

I was able to stay an extra night in hospital which I found helpful, as I was exhausted following the birth.

What could be improved

It took a long time to be discharged.
