My 93 year old nan was brought to elm court from darent valley hospital and was treated so badly I am disgusted!! My poor nan was left in soiled pants over night due to no one coming in to attend to her needs knowing that’s one of the main reasons she was in this dump in the first place! She was then left waiting on the commode for 20 minutes waiting for someone to come and clean her up? My nanis unable to walk and was just left there calling and buzzing with no reply where is the dignity in that!! This morning she was rudely awakened by a nurse dragged up from her bed had blood taken from her without being told what was happening and then thrown back down onto her bed like a piece of meat!! She’s 93 years old needless to say we have now discharged her from there and are trying to care for her ourselves as the thought of her being in there for another night is not even worth thinking about!! There is lack of communication between staff and I understand shortages but get people in that actually enjoy there job and are not just there because they have to be these old people have feelings too!!
