"womans service at Rampton hospital"

About: Rampton Hospital

(as the patient),

Emerald A ward

I find the day service at the DRC (Diamond Rescores centre) ok. I don’t think it can be improved. I like the events and would like to see the Rosehip belly dancers again. I would like to see some computer courses and more cooking and education especially English and maths. I definitely feel supported by the DRC staff.

I am delighted to hear that you enjoy participating in the meaningful day activities offered at the Diamond Resource Centre (DRC) and that you feel supported by the DRC staff.

A hospital wide project was undertaken by the wards, day care services and the Therapy and Education Department (TED) in partnership with patients to identify needs, develop individual activity programmes and to relinquish activities that do not add value to patient recovery and/or experience. The activity programme of each patient is monitored closely and any concerns especially those raised by you and your colleagues are addressed swiftly.

Please contact your named nurse, your ward manager and/or any member of your clinical team if you have any concerns about your care, treatment including therapies and your daily activities. Activity programmes are also discussed at ward community meetings and the Directorate Recovery Involvement Group (DRIG).

Thank you for your suggestions regarding future events that like requesting for Rosehip belly dancers again. I shall present this to the DRIG and feedback via DRIG and ward community meetings.

thank you very much for taking the time to give positive feedback about the Diamond Resource Centre (DRC) Day Care Services.

Please do attend or continue to attend both the ward community meetings and DRIG so that you both shape and review the activities programmes are person-centred and contribute to positive experiences and recovery.
