spent two weeks trying to get through to someone on the phone. left messages and no calls returned. Referral sent in October, no response and when i finally get through to speak to someone i am told all in meeting. Next time everyone off sick. No records of referral found. then told oh yes found logged into a different team, not for assessment of mental health and aspergers or adhd but logged as referral for speech therapy??
Then given number to speak to CYPIT team only to be told no one in office today try another day.
Really doesn't seem like anyone in these teams have any interest in helping young people. I feel it would be better not having these teams at least then you would know your not getting help instead of keep waiting.
"impossible to get referral assessed, not..."
