I was blue lighted in with a suspected stroke after I had received wonderful treatment at my local hospital. From when I arrived at Northampton the level of care I received was absolutely appalling and I was literally shoved in a bay in the holding area and ignored. I then went into a room on a & e where I did actually get seen to and was impressed with one lovely nurse but then when I went to CT was struggling to get my jewellery out due to problems with the one and a cannula in the other arm yet 4 nurses and the scan lady stood and watched me struggle and offered me no help at all, just left me very distressed. This whole experience at Northampton was dreadful. I was not even offered a drink. I was thirsty and starving and the place was filthy
My local hospital had called ahead and the stroke nurse came and said wrong patient and said she would be back in a few minutes but 8 hours later and I never saw her again. Shameful
"Absolutely disgusting no service no manners..."
