"Eye clinic"

About: Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital / Ophthalmology

I have had two recent visits to the eye clinic following the discovery of an unexplained spot on the back of my eye. Naturally I was very concerned.

On each visit I arrived well ahead of the appointment but was impressed by the fact that having checked in I was in the system to be seen. On both occasions the department was very busy.

The department seems to run very efficiently from the admin staff through to the doctors who saw me.

All members of staff were polite and seemed to understand that I was anxious. The nurses were busy but friendly and explained the next stage in the process. The doctors were friendly, gave me the time I needed and were thorough in their explanation of the outcome of their investigations. On both occasions I left feeling positive and generally very impressed with this department.
