"Rude receptionist"

About: Stamford House

I came in with my wife for appointment.

As I left went to the chemist I realised the doctor prescribed wrong medication.

I went back and requested the receptionist to sort that out for me she was so rude she just said no we can’t do that.

And was very rude. But she had no manners or any politeness towards us. I even said what about the lady sat behind you can’t she help she refused to say anything to that lady. This type of service in a surgery is unacceptable if the receptionist is not willing to hear what you want to say then that’s wrong. This could have been dealt with properly...

I had to leave after that without my medication being changed.

I am very sorry that you are obviously disappointed with our service.

This incident has been fully discussed at our Practice Meeting and with all the staff involved.

Unfortunately during clinical sessions, the doctors are always fully booked and we are unable to disturb them during consultations.

I do hope that the mistake has now been rectified.

Once again we are grateful for your comments, they help us assess and strive to improve our services.

May we remind our patients that our reception staff always strive to help patients in anyway possible and we have a zero tolerance policy towards any type of abuse towards our staff.
