"The a la carte hospital menu"

About: St Bartholomew's Hospital

(as a relative),

My father in law is a patient at barts under going life changing tests. He's been there for 5 days now and once settled we looked at the menu for breakfast. Lunch. Evening meal. The menu looks stunning with a great choice. ....but I don't think the food is up to giving the patient what they need. salad with minimal salad. Shepherds pie that made him feel sick. Cheese and tomato sandwich without the cheese told they had no cheese. Breakfast. Lumpy porridge. Minimal drinks inc no coffee no tea. this food service is run by serco,  does anybody check what patients get to eat. Thank god we took our own food in otherwise im sure my father in laws recovery would of been questionable.
