"Midwives here deserve an award!"

In 2013 I fell pregnant with my 1st child, a lot of people would tell me how bad the BRI was and how I should opt for another hospital! However I decided to give it a go and opted for a birth on the birthing centre! What can I say...it was amazing the care, the service and the emotion I received with all the midwives it was like they were giving birth with me! I was amazed and so grateful that I got all this and couldn’t believe how amazingly I had been treated!

Moving onto 2017 I find out I’m pregnant with my 2nd! This time things didn’t quite go to plan and I was unable to give birth at the birthing centre but instead the labour ward, due to some complications in this pregnancy! what can I say excellent care and amazing staff got me through my second birth and again the midwives were fantastic!

I couldn’t be more grateful for the service and care recieved and over the last 4 years if I am part of or overhear a conversation about the BRI maternity unit I usuassly step in and speak about my positive experiences!

Dear Minlin, thank you so much for such an amazing review of the maternity care here both in the birth unit and the Labour Ward - the staff there will be hugely encouraged by your positive feedback, and thank you for sharing your experience with other women who may need our care.

I would like to make you aware of a new Maternity Voices Partnership that has been set up in Bradford, they have a facebook page and website, please have a look if you are interested i am sure they would love to hear from you.

It is one of our top priorities to make sure we listen to and involve women, and their families, so we can provide the right care and a wonderful experience for them at such an important time in their lives.
