My wife and I have been patients for many years and have always had excellent service through some traumatic events. Over the last few years we have had annual medical reviews.
In November 2016 my review identified
I had Iron Deficiency Anaemia. Within 2 weeks my GP had referred me to Aintree Hospital Endoscopy Unit and had endoscopies in December which were clear and was discharged with a recommended course of Iron tablets. My GP was not happy with this and referred me to the Gastroscopy Unit. A CT Scan in April identified a Liver abnormality and I was immediately referred to a Liver Surgeon. He told me much longer and " I would not have been speaking to him " as I had a large Tumour in the Liver.
After numerous tests and discussions I had a Liver Resection Operation in June 2017 and the aggressive tumour was completely removed successfully. This was followed by a severe bout of Sepsis and was back in hospital.
During all this time I had a lot of support from the Doctors and Nurses in the GP Centre.
The Westmoreland were effectively responsible for "SAVING
MY LIFE" through the prompt action of the Staff for which my Wife and I are eternally grateful.
