About: The Practice-Rushey Mead

This surgery is an absolute nightmare to contact, have been on phone 3 times for 15 minutes each time, it just times out and connection lost. This means you start again. Never got through at all this morning. How can this happen? People are sick and need to contact for serious health reasons.. Have now got to get a taxi down to surgery due to needing medication from the doctor.

Thank you for taking the time to review Rushey Mead Health Centre. Please be assured we take any concerns raised very seriously.

We are very sorry to hear that you were not happy with the service received. We have looked into the call disconnection issue with our telephone supplier but cannot see an indication of why this might be happening. Please contact our Practice Manager in order that that we can investigate this further with you.

The Health Centre has seen significantly increased demand this winter and, therefore, there is increased demand the telephone system. In order to meet this demand, we are in the process of increasing the way in which people can request appointments and contact the surgery (including the enhanced use of online services), and have recently changed telephone supplier in order that we can invest in the system and put a more responsive system in place over the coming weeks.
