"Excellent service But let. Down on discharge"

About: Heartlands Hospital

Told beening discharged while In bed on ward 4 hours latter discharged (takining up bed space ) then sent to pharmacy another 2 hour wait why can't prescription be sent from ward to pharmacy to speed things as stated exelent service except for your discharge system

I am very sorry that there was a delay in your wife being discharged and that she had to wait for her medication, at Heartlands Hospital.

I am pleased that the overall service your wife received was excellent.

If you would be willing to provide further details such as your wife’s name, address, date of birth and a contact number, as a Trust, we would welcome the opportunity to review this matter.

You can do this by contacting a member of the Patient Services Team on 0121 424 0808 or you can email your concerns to bhs-tr.Complaints-ConcernsandCompliments@nhs.net who can then take the necessary action.

If you do contact our team, can I please ask you to advise the member of staff that you are responding to your NHS Choices Posting.

In the meantime, I will forward your posting the senior management teams so they are aware of your comments and ask that it is shared with the staff.
