"It was a pleasant experience and I have..."

About: St Peter's Hospital (Chertsey)

What I liked

I never had to wait long to be seen. I was treated as if I was their only patient. Everyone was so kind, so understanding and really seemed to care, even down to the reception staff. Everything was explained to me in great detail and in a way that I could fully understand. The nurses went out of their way to make sure all the appointments fitted together and they made all the appointments for me, so all I had to do was turn up. They were always there for me and never made me feel a nuisance. Both the consultants I saw treated me with great respect and compassion and the last thing remember before the anaesthetic took effect was the Consultant's lovely smile.

It was a privilege to have met these people.

What could be improved

The parking, although without building a multi story at vast expense, I cannot see how this can be improved.

We are very pleased you had such a positive experience when you came to St Peter's Hospital.

In terms of parking, we do of course understand that this is often an issue, particularly at busy clinic times. However, we are now starting work on two additional parking decks which will increase the number of spaces for our patients and visitors. We are also going to be putting in barriers to our main car park which will help to restrict its use for patients and visitors only. These works should be completed by the summer and should improve the situation significantly.
